This came out as I left for Vietnam. Every time I hear it I think of the guys I served with, especially the one's whose names are written on the wall. Not a day goes by that I don't think of them. They were the finest men I'll ever know. God bless them all.

Kudos the Bill Danoff, who wrote this gem and a few other JD classics, including "Take Me Home, Country Roads". Bill also wrote the Emmylou Harris song "Boulder to Birmingham". For those of you not familiar with Fat City, consisting of Bill and his then-wife Taffy, check out the original of this song on YT.

This song is special to me, really anything John Denver is, but when I was a kid I would play this song when I went to bed every night, and fall asleep listening...miss you JD...

Gorgeous! I can feel the love from watching this beautiful video. Wonderful use of some very well chosen and cropped Wildlife Concert photos. The pictures and sound become one. Thanks so very much for giving us this treasure.

Thank you Dave. The Wildlife Concert is the best ever concert in my opinion. It had old and new and the rapport with the audience is poignant. Friends he will remember and friends who will never forget him.
