This came out as I left for Vietnam. Every time I hear it I think of the guys I served with, especially the one's whose names are written on the wall. Not a day goes by that I don't think of them. They were the finest men I'll ever know. God bless them all.

Kudos the Bill Danoff, who wrote this gem and a few other JD classics, including "Take Me Home, Country Roads". Bill also wrote the Emmylou Harris song "Boulder to Birmingham".
