One of my back bending practices. Back bending can be challenging for me. I still need to create more openness in my shoulders and upper back. My arms should be directly under my shoulders in Urdhva dhanurasana and the feet should remain parallel to each other throughout the practice.

  • jeez..u r graceful.do u hold positions 4 time or is rocking,pushps better?thx

  • @pheonix1754 you can do either. When my body is stiff, the rocking & pushups help open my upper back.

    Om shanti :)

  • How many time a week do you train yoga? You re in great shape:)

  • @gorangosho I practice yoga daily; other than that I hike - :)

  • The supported back bend on the chairs would be very good for kyphosis. The other back bends are intermediate/advanced level and I would only do them if you have an experienced yoga teacher to help you.

    Om shanti,
