AnaFemeel......well they do have a bit of Samba in Bahia during carnival, although the majority is Axe. They also have pagode, reggae and electronica techno. They have THE most varied carnival musically. I love to hear the timbal. I do not get into samba too much.....it all sounds the same to me. But then again I am not Brazilian so I cannot differentiate. I meet a lot of Cariocas in Bahia during carnaval. They say it's the best to them,lol.

lol@Ana......have you been to Salvador's? Look at the Guiness Book of World records. They have labelled Bahia's as the largest. You cannot say it is a copy of Rio's. Bahia to me is: "O melhor carnaval do mundo". It is for the people. Rio's is for the tourists and spectators.
