Great sounding recording of Mark´s charity gig at Boothbay Opera House in September 2006. It was the one and only live performance of this song so far! Very unique show without a drummer! Richard Bennett on 2nd guitar, Guy Fletcher on Keyboards and Glen Worf on bass.

Yes, he plays exclusively steel strings since many years.

  • Did you swap the audio with the new boothbay audio files?

  • what the fuck .... he...is.....amazing.

  • @greenwich1754 Mate your comment was absolutely spot on and exactly the kind of feelings that I feel in my mid-30s.A sadness/reflective feeling when you think back to happier/innocent times that at the time you unintentionally took for granted, but now wish you could go back to.This track is steeped in that mood and brings a sadness inside when I hear it. Great to hear someone else relates to it as much as I do :')

  • @2Touchstone what?

  • @Boudizz You're so right. When you're a kid, everything is forward, and you're in a place with family and friends that seems/feels safe, unchangeable, and more or less happy. Then you get out of school & jump on the merry-go-round called life/making a living. The 30 plus years pass, and you realize a lot of what you had (especially people) are gone, and life seems transient, unstable, and you begin to think: "where did that place and time go - did it even exist?" Hurts more when single.

  • @eternalMKfan Fantastic Point!!!

  • Is Mark using steel strings?

  • this is really amazing, and I can't stop listening to it over and over, it reminds me with my old home, my family . ... and my father who passed away few years back. "Everything is gone but my heart is hanging on" :' )
