Noted. But to the 'BestFriend' or whomever, they are the 'person on the inside', they know Him so they know the story. They have seen the growth & changes or have had the discussions. To those of us on the outside, It is sudden & therefore shocking. He didn't just grow a beard & said he was going to rap, His entire demeanor, gestures & public personality has changed. That is why the bewilderment. -But that is part of the problem with the Cult of Celebrity...everyone thinks They ReaLLy know him.

Nice beats, lyrics, rap, flow, rhyme, rhythm, etc. But you already knew that!
Also, if you look at the cameraman in the Phoenix clip, he's obviously filming the audience to get reactions.

Also, when Joaquin gets up to the camera, he doesn't make any "I'm in the moment this is so great" gestures.
