No way! Bullcrap! Licata was a much better character than Cattani. Don't get me wrong I wish he'd satyed but then came Licata who turned out to be a better character that could do what was necessary but at the same time retain a human side.
Mezzagiorno didn't ruin the series,he perfected it.
It's a shame after 6,6 the show over focused on Conti and her creepy obsessiveness and decided to go all over the place

What? Blasphemy! Davide Licata was in every way cooler than Cattani he had more guts,could do dirtier but necessary things,more charisma and took on a Nazi and what's more he was almost dead at that!
