Please Sign the "Titanic" Petition - Get the Full Score Released!

OK, first and foremost, I obviously don't own the right to show the film or play the music. And I really don't want to infringe any copyright laws. However, this is an advertisement promoting the movie for what I think is a good cause, and if this actually works, the studio/record company will make money, so it's a win-win, right?

I'm a big fan of James Horner. His scores take you inside the movie, and I really respect his work. If you haven't heard of James Horner, then you've probably heard of "Titanic", which he composed. (Please no "My Heart Will Go On" comments. I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about the underscore - the instrumental music.) Anyways, for a score that won the Academy Award and for a film that's one of the biggest of all time, the soundtrack releases were fairly flimsy. Lord of the Rings got a good treatment - they released the complete recordings for that trilogy. So ... my petition is to encourage the studios to release the complete score (or recording sessions) for Titanic so everyone can experience how powerful this music is and just how much it added to the raw emotion of the film. It seriously takes like 2 seconds. If you think the full score should be released, just add your name and sign it.

@CJCA915 There were two soundtracks publicly released, "Titanic" and "Back to Titanic". But there's a lot of music from the movie that wasn't released.

@MelissaAnnLegard1989 AVATAR beat titanic but they are planning to re-release Titanic in 2012 in 3D !! so hopefully it will reign again :)

I really hope Titanic wouldn't be surpassed by Avatar!!! Titanic shall always be the no. 1 and forever will be in my heart!!! I really love the movie, also Leo and Kate Winslet... ;-)
