Cool... I might get one of these dogs soon. How hard are they to raise into a generally fine, confident, discriminate, well-behaved dog? How tough are them to train? What kind of positive reinforcement training do you recommend? Clicker? Treats? Cuddles?

Lol!! Kids and dogs are beautiful together. Thank you for sharing! Kaiser made me laugh :)

You have to socialize TMs and work with them every day. This is a must. I have a 6.5 month female and have worked with her everyday from the beginning. Fortunately my job allows her to be with me all of the time and that is very important. I hate to say it, but TMs aren't for everyone and many trainers don't know what they are doing when it comes to working with the Tibetan Mastiff.

The dog is desperate... nobody wants to play with the dog... Tibetan Mastiff needs a lot of affection from the owner...Otherwise they will turn against you...
