The Atchafalaya Basin

The Atchafalaya Basin in South Louisiana near Pierre Part and Morgan City is an over flow for the Mississippi, Atchafalaya and Red River. It is a maze of natural Bayous, Cannels, Piplines and Lakes. It's the most interesting fishery I've visted in the world with virtually endess and unlimited water to fish. The Upper Basin features Cypress Woods while the lower basin is a coastal marsh. No different that a car filled roadways, telephone poles or city on the sprawling prairies. Maybe we should turn off the electricity, stop driving cars and tear down our cities. Human civilization has evolved and everywhere you look there are changes to the natural beauty but do you really want to give up all our modern conveniences and technology to go back to living with nature? I would rather live in harmony and keep my modern conveniences.

cool video. where ever would you fish with that huge amount of water lol. I live and Fish on Caney Lake in Louisiana but its not very big. I want to go fish that basin but im gonna have to wait til i get a boat with a larger gas tank .
