  • I will still NEVER understand why anyone lives in a place that has a high risk of danger.

  • new orleans started as a great place to trade - which is why it was so valuable initially. after that, the generations grew tied to the land.

i moved here for the education i would get and to do the relief work, because it's just something i really love doing. i have met my best friends doing that work. as for the others - just ask them. stop speculating and ask them.

  • It isn't just New Orleans I have a problem with....Japan and tsunami, California quakes, Gulf of Mexico hurricanes. I know you can't get away from Nature completely, but come on! /end rant

  • "new orleans is an inevitable city in an impossible place" - i forget who said that...

bonus points to someone who does!

    xx Jules
