Anyway, this performance was wonderful! Her power notes were so strong and clear, much better than in the actual performance. Definitely one of the BEST singers of this generation.

LMAO, that's a crock of shit. Martina McBride "hits notes effortlessly" as long as they're in TENOR range. Above a C#, her voice is extremely strained. Just listen to some of her live performances of "Broken Wing." Carrie doesn't have as great of a TECHNIQUE as Martina, but she has FAR more range. That's not an opinion, it's a fact. If you know anything about music theory or vocal pedagogy, you wouldn't even have to second-guess that. McBride is an overrated singer. Great power, limited range.

To 'swiftfan4life' - The person above me 'kaytiepei', said i must be a 'Swift fan' because i don't think that carrie is as great as people make her out to be. Let me make sure people understand me: Carrie can sing, she's just not as good as people make her out to be and is not in the same class as a power singer as Martina, Whitney, Mariah, Christina and Celine. Taylor, however, cannot stay in tune for 2 minutes live, and that is really bizarre.

@PaulDA2000
I agree that Martina is a tremendous singer, but I'm sorry, I think Carrie is up there as well

Pahaha! Yes, Carrie is amazing singer!! Anyway..what I think is really bizarre is the fact that you can sit here and tell ME that Taylor cannot sing live or whatever, and yet you have never seen her live?..do I stand corrected??
or have you really never been to one of her concerts?

The fact that you're putting Christina and Martina in the same class as Mariah, Whitney, and Celine (The Vocal Trinity) renders your entire post LAUGHABLE. lmao. As a power singer, Carrie is just as good, if not BETTER than both of them. She can actually carry her vocal power and stamina above a high TENOR D, and actually does so with vibrato! McBride and Aguilera have tremendous power, but only when singing in the key of a man LOL.
