you started off by counting a card twice in the beginning..you said one put it down two put it down and grabbed the first one you put down and counted 3 4....that was a big mistake in slight of hand...and the cards look damn thick...so i believe there is more than four cards on top of eachother giving the trick the effect.

Try and make your elmsly counts smoother by moving only your left hand and not both.

also im not sure if this will apply to your trick but if so i think it'll help with smoothness...instead of trying to outjog the card while counting try doing the count, and then buckling the card and pulling out the one you want

This really fooled me but i believe it would be even more convincing with a smoother elmsley =) i really hope this helped! great job!
