@STUCKER868 Hi. I found your comments to be intriguing. How do you know that J.D. had perfect pitch? And why, if true, would that provide him with an advantage in singing (as opposed to composing, or tone-recognition)?
-
I dont think Taylor could handle this classic. John Denver had perfect pitch and incredible breath/vibrato control.... Hicks does not.

I never understand why Taylor Hiks music is not on a video like this. Not everyone likes John Denver.
-
many John Denver lovers would truly enjoy having more of his music on shows like American Idol... who knows... maybe!!!

This version of LOOKING FOR SPACE is from PORTRAIT, a 2CD set for 1999. Recorded at the Cow Palace in San Francisco in 1978.

I'm going to find this recording, and let you know. He only had a few live albums, I'll find it. This really does sound better than the studio version.

The oringinal studio version of John Denver's "Looking For Space" is from Denver's Windsong. It's such an incredible song.

Where is the recording of this version of Looking for Space? It is really beautiful.

This live version by John Denver sounds better than the studio version. That doesn't happen very often. He got better as he got older.

That John Denver song is perfect for Taylor. Beautiful job.

John Denver would be VERY proud!!! Where can I see the actual video of taylor doing this song????????

Taylor never sang this song unfortunately. That would be awesome if he did someday, though. It's one of the most beautiful songs ever in my opinion.
