@JPMorgan900 no it's just a message he sent to Nasa there is obviously no Audience, and i never miss an episode wouldve seen this segment ;)

Did they mute the audience post-production? or is this a rehersal or what? Maybe the audience didn't get a joke, well if there was an audience, god what a dead crowd..
I dont think he looks distracted by the audience not laughing, in fact it's remarkable how he just goes on.

Ha, you can tell he's not used to cracking jokes without an audience. He keeps pausing after every one. :P

Very stupid move of NASA to ignore the majority vote, and simply naming it "Tranquility"... no government-funded tyrants are going to ignore Stephen Colbert on my watch!

It's so weird listening to him without the audience laughing. They really complete the show.
