Coming in early 2012, Firefox will have some new web developer tools built in to the browser. You can try them today on the Aurora channel.

  • That's correct, except for Scratchpad, which has a different feel from playing with JavaScript in the console. Our console also shows more information (all network requests, not just the ones after document ready, for example)

  • @Damkrawpl Yeah. This is built-in to Firefox, similar to the one in Chrome. This means it's an official feature supported by Mozilla. Firebug is an extension, it's not made by Mozilla.

  • Correct me if I'm wrong - all of this is in firebug and in webkit based browsers? Right ?
