  • Kibera a is one of my favorite places and favorite people. It is not violent, considering the lack of modern infrastructure (sanitation systems) it is clean. The children are bright faced not flies in eyes like media likes to depict. Everyone is industrious. I support organized women's groups there.

  • poor bastards dont know any better. your ignorence makes me sick

  • @sondano...

Shut the actual fuck up you stupid prick! These people

Are not lazy, most of them are dying plus there's barely any space in kibera to build anything,

You muppet... How anyone can call these people lazy is beyond me, especially since the Americans themselves didn't build these 'outhouses' you speak of, they got their black African slaves to do it for them. I know your going to come back at me with a hate comment, but if you can judge, you yourself can be judged. Having worked aroun

  • @Logan7783 we say you are lazy because you are. Negligent filthy primitives who can't even grab a shovel dig a ditch and bury the trash or build outhouses. Most American pioneers were dirt poor they still didn't live like pigs. They had ingenuity and extremely high work ethic. You have neither. You live among garbage heaps and flying toilets for god's sake! That goes waaay beyond being poor. It would be time to take a look in the mirror instead of always blaming others.

  • @shelzo Yes, I can see that. It looks like Paradise. I must move there.

  • It is not a safe place to be.. Simply look! Just because people are nice it doesn't mean they deserve any less than what we have. Take a closer look the next time. Ask yourself would you eat, sleep let alone live in the conditions? If so, go a head and report back in a week,

  • I just watched an episode of Teen Cribs on MTV, where spoiled teenagers take you on a tour of their parents' gigantic mansions full of everything anyone could ever want. Some of these brats are 14 and 15 and they own BMWs that they can't even drive yet. Then I watched this, and it really makes you realize the extreme disparity in this world. It made me very grateful for being an average middle class American who doesn't have much but at the same time has a whole lot.

  • man places like these draw my greatest attention, however if I were ever to go to Kenya i wouldn't like to walk through places like these because I'm afraid what I might see

  • If you have a chance have a look at our channel and video and see the project we are involved in with orphans who once live in Kibera .

  • You know the situation is bad when the ancient Romans from thousands of years ago lived in better conditions. At least the Romans had a sewage system and paved streets.

  • @dawnseattle not violent? please, i have researched kibera and during the night muggings and rapings are big. Gang violence is one of the biggest crimes, people are so poor and they resort to stealing other people's belongings. Dont get me wrong im not trying to make out that it is a sick place, they dont know any better
