The tornado is so close you cannot see the other side. It is moving from the left of the screen to the right. 8 teens and 1 elderly lady lost their lives this day. Standing out my door the HS is 2 miles to the east and Dixie Dr (where it stopped) is about a mile north.

  • Very nice video, am curious if you have more? What direction are you facing? and what aprx. location where you at? NWS now upgraded the tornado to an EF-4

  • No I don not have more. This is the first time I have seen a tornado...Neighborhood behind Food World. I did not here the upgraded it.. Wow!

  • Interesting video that shows the problems spotting a tornado in the SE with trees and buildings. Notice the power flash (23 sec into the video) in the upper right corner of the screen and above the distant red car. I powerflash under a lowering is suspicious of tornadic activity. Thanks for posting.

  • My old neighbor...

  • I think that flash was the transformer blowing that caused your power to go out (notice how it happens right after you see the flash!)

  • you can hear it...

  • i was at EHS when this hit that shit sucked ass

  • awesome videos, all 3....scary wind sound and very eerie.....thanks for sharing..

  • i heard that 8students died from this tornado at a school

  • Did you notice that there was a power flash on the right. That's how I knew that there was one. You must have been lucky

  • I've seen clouds like that TWICE. The white area being a second bank pressed up under the dark one, extending real low (when I saw it, it actually was low enough to block my view across the bay!)

  • Yeah, and you wouldn't have been??

  • Should have sent the dog to go check it out
