Panasonic Corporation exhibited the new "Lumix G1" single lens reflex digital camera at CEATEC JAPAN 2008.
The Lumix G1 is equipped with an electronic viewfinder and a wide viewing angle LCD monitor so that the finished coloring can be easily checked while taking photos.
The Lumix G1 is the world's most compact, lightweight single lens reflex digital camera due to its innovative mirror-less structure. It also features a 12.1 megapixel Live MOS sensor that divides the image captured by the lens into 144 blocks and measures the light intensity of each block to obtain the correct targeted exposure with multi photometry. The camera also features Auto Focus Tracking, which continues to automatically focus the camera even if the subject is moving, and a Face Detection function that automatically detects and focuses on faces in the frame. With these functions, anyone can use the Lumix G1 to take beautiful photos every time.

An excellent device overall.

The guy reading has a monotonous voice (just as myself) that's not good for this king of thing, ha.

this is a revelation in digital photography, if you knew anything about photography you would agree with most of the reviews out there on this camera, it is a very good looking camera as well as being much smaller and lighter to carry around, bit pricy though

My Nikon D70 has a battery life of over 2000 shots which I don't want to miss.

350 shots is nothing.

Was the narrator drunk during the recording? Either that or someone really made a bad decision hiring that man to speak to an audience. It made me chuckle rather than focusing my attention and some information got literally swallowed by his pronounciation. That was unprofessional.
