i did'nt say sti/wrx's arent amazing.....they are great great cars...i just figured they would have a lil more spotlight on them if they were pulling such fast times with gas power'd 4cyl awd, it seems like they are all either tubechasis, rwd or F6's.... i could be wrong, i wasnt trying to argue, just didnt think there was a subi in the same class as the ams evo dragcar that was quicker. but i see they untub'd and converted back to awd with their ej20 powerd dragcar..very cool awd wheel-ee

the tony rigoli trp sti (2 door) drag car boasts an 8.341 @ 158.69, its got a roll cage and no back seats im sure, but its certainly streetable minus the (one?) missing headlight. they have a full mod list on their website, no tube chassis, still awd, still a 4 cylinder sleeved ej20. im tired of this argument, how hard is it to believe that an extra .5 liters (25% increase over evo) of displacement can support a larger turbo for more power? evo's and sti's are amazing, end of discussion.

find a subi thats at the lvl the ams evo is at, not some rigoli racing tube chassis rwd drag car....and im still calling BS that there is a streetable awd subi running mid 8's.... and ive been searching.

they have an awd subie running in the 7's. not as quick as the rwd drag prepped couterpart, but it still looks like a subaru and still has awd. i was under the impression that the awd one does not have a fully fabricated tube chassis, but i could be wrong.

788awhp(39psi) is the highest evo on pumpgas ive ever heard of.....crazy. and those "7 second subies"????? they are tube chasis, tubbed, RWD drag cars...thats NOT CLOSE the class the ams evo runs in, lol, fair comparison......wait here i got one..ummmmm, yea! Well Brent Rau runs 6's in his RWD, Tubbed, 4G63 G'clipse!

just look at the " tony rigoli performance , com , au " (dots not commas) homepage. it says in bold lettering "NEW RECORD 7.795@176.63MPH"
