tourqe is vital in desert driving with swift engine response, landys are very poor to meet that standers, I bought and sold many of them and the only thing i missed is the are comfy on pumpy desert roads. Gosh u do not want to drive them during desert heat, cuz there is a heat comes beneath the driver seat. also the seating position is uncomfortable for long time of desert driving.

also desert land scape can change could change with 1 KM, that is why u need a compromised tire size. based on my 1 million KM desert driving experience 245X75 is the ideal size where u just deflat and inflat air between 45(stone/rocky roads) 25 sand and extreme nofoud sand mountains.
they do not teach these in any schools only experience could teach u. tire prussure under 10 could conflect serious effects on tires life span.
ex desert sumggular.

I think i saw u south of leayyon area....get ride of these garbige, slow, noisy, uncomfortable LR and get urself land cruiser 75 petrol 240 HP & 375 Tourqe plus BG 245 by 75 wheels sets. u need an quick power response when u drive in the desert only petrol engine give u that
