The government is finally walking the talk. Prime minister Raila Odinga has launched the interim coordinating secretariat of the Mau forest complex that will steer the process of restoring the countrys most critical water tower. Former Rift Valley Provincial Commissioner, Noor Hassan Noor, will head the secretariat whose mandate will run for a period of two years. As NTVs Jane Kiiyo reports, the Prime Minister indicates that the secretariat can only coordinate while relevant ministries will carry out implementation of action plans such as the resettlement of squatters.
the should should first start with kiambu forest, what we use to call kabete and kikuyu forest then come to mau.

Let it not be another bottomless pit to waste tax payers money. Sad that former RV PC Hassan Noor is to head the secretariat while the Mau was being dished out under his watch. Thanks to the lady in red.
