  • Zoe and Fran rock! KUDOS to you both! Do the Sesame Muppets still recognize and remember Mr. Henson?

  • A little suggestion: the OCRHC should really link their website (and the Henson exhibit page) on the information section of this video.

    Keep up the good work!

  • @Angie2343: Death back then was not the avoided topic it is now. Back then, you had Disney movies lose a parent & you had real situations in which kids lost a pet or an elderly relative, and unlike nowadays, where parents either coddle their kids and try to shelter them from the problems of the world or they push their kids out the door into the world and said world gives them a dose of harsh reality they're not ready for, parents actually discussed these issues with their kids back then.

  • @Angie2343: Yes, it was to be marketed to kids, but the Henson "family" of performers knows that kids are smarter and more intelligent than most think, never mind that they made the show for the parents watching as well. Jerry Juhl said it best--as he did on the Fraggle Rock DVDs--that they made all their shows in ways that could be enjoyed by all ages, because really, in truth, it wouldn't have worked well for the kids if the adults doing the acting and Muppeteering didn't enjoy what they did.

  • @TherealRNO His original intention for the show was for it to be marketed only towards preschool kids, but since then the Muppets have expanded their horizons and covered quite a few "adult" issues, like death and pregnancy.

  • @Angie2343: Of course they do! It's Sesame Street! Without Mr. Henson, the Muppets as we know them would not exist now!

  • She forgot to mention that it was in Orlando, florida, and near Walt Disney World!

  • It's coming to Fresno!!!!! I am sooooo exited.

  • Im a HUGE Fan of the muppets! this better come to boston!!!!!
