@afreijat Absolutely true. In one instance, I was still on my feet after a good hit, threw a couple punches, and then my vision blurred and I fell to the floor.

any one who doesn't think this is a true knockout has never been knocked out. you don't just immediate blackout.. sometimes it happens slowly. hence the attempts to stay on his feet. if you get hit in the fucking temple you will be knocked out. this is why EVERY ONE guards the temples when fighting. not the face or back of head or groin. the temples. this is why.

Liston pulled a Buster Douglas when he fought Evander Holyfield.

And Liston almost getting to his feet and collapsing again doesn't fool anyone.

Another reason why Ali was so animated in telling him to get up...he never acted like that after flooring any other opponent.

When asked by the TV annoucer about the KO punch, Ali didn't even know if it was a left or right.

Malcolm X was killed a few weeks earlier, Liston probably didn't want to take any chances, so he just got out of there quick.

Me too, I heard  there were behind the scenes deals saying that if Sonny didn't throw the fight some people were going to kill him. It was over some bets that were made on Ali. If you look closly you'll see Ali yelling at Sonny saying things kinda like get up! Because he knew he could take more than that.
