On Thursday July 7th, the Honorable Ida Chong, BC Minister of Community, sport and Cultural Development announced funding of $16.8 million for the arts in BC, to be administered through the BC Arts Council.
These funds are to come from her ministry, the 2010 Legacy Fund, the BC 150 Fund Endowment, and other sources.
The BC Arts Council, an independent body, will review applications for funding every 3 months.
