It's 16th May, 2011, and we have had our first frost of the year here in Sydney, Australia - normally we don't get a frost for another 4-6 weeks. With a couple of good frosts, your couch [bermuda grass] lawn and kikuyu lawn will start to go straw coloured, particularly the couch.
I suppose there really is not a lot you can do to avoid the impact of frosts on your lawn except for throwing a [frost blanket] over the lawn area.
