With the advent of the new solar concentrated solar cells added to the dome shaped "disco wheels" and a in-hub electric motor, Devonshire Wellsford, Corp., skateboards have created a new emerging market, & they've arrived under the sun! Here's a way to "ride on the sun, and not get burned!" Powerful energy flows from the sun and this is a solar powered skateboard "coming up" over the horizon. The wheels have photovoltaic cells that spin at high rotations per minute and collect power to a battery beneath the deck. A switch allows you to select solar or battery and a battery compartment is included under the deck. Our most recent development includes convex "dome" shaped full globes with in wheel motors. The moondisc "umbrella rim's" globes ares centered on each wheel and covered with concentrated powerful photovoltaics. This represents a gigantic leap in the evolution of solar power via the high rotation of photovoltaic cells. As solar cells have been shown to last 30 years or more, this could be a long fun ride folks!! We strive to have a version of this skateboard on the world market soon and begin competition! This green energy prototype will move forward with recent developments in the field. We have gotten many rave reviews but we could use an investment or two; venture capital gang! "POLO PLAYING SEGWAY RIDERS" how about
pitching in and "ponying up to the bar"! (this works on segways too!!) Our global vision continues to be inspiring
educational and scientific advances in solar technologies.
