I can see how they want to be "totally true to vintage specs" but a 9v adapter is a big selling point for A LOT of people. I can't remember the last time I used a battery in a pedal.

@dougcassidy Maybe he should've have said "preserved" dynamic range. MY dynacomp does just that to a preferred degree. A decrease in dynamics is a basic tendency of a compressor.
-
"increased dynamic range"? considering that a compressor is used to DECREASE dynamic range, I call FAIL. Again.
-
for $170 gimme an ac adapter jack, dammit!
-
@angusyoung98 to most people it wouldn't be, but it would be worth it to a few i'm sure.
-
is this pedal worth $170 dollars?
-
Powered only by a 9V battery... so this means you can't use an AC adapter for it

A jazz hipster is somebody who listens to jazz that isn't popular. In his reference, somebody who plays 'underground' jazz.

@RezaMatix Most metal players do not use compressors, which is probably why metal was not in the demo. Moreover, gear should be used however you want it to be used. Don't worry about their recommended settings. Find something that sounds good to you and use that. :)
