Ive been fascinated by the kid stare at the end of the film for years. Having watched it so many times still gets me that final part, it just has endless magic and a very unique nostalgic charm. I think Truffaut made a kind of time voyage through that kid and that film and in the end the kid is looking at him and at us. One of the most accomplished moments in film history IMO
