I have a 3 year old mini named Bubba and I swear they are THE smartest dogs out there. And they honestly THINK they are a real person and part of the family. Loved watching the tricks. Good job.

LOL. Thank you!
I'd say I'm consistent and I do positive reinforcement~ Also probably because this breed (as I heard, coz this is the only dog I ever had) is pretty smart.

Jesus! Mini is superbly talented. I'm getting a mini schna in December as a puppy and would love any tips on the breed you could offer. Well done!

Hello~~ Did you get your Schnauzer puppy yet? I would not recommend getting a puppy from a pet store because a lot of them are from puppy mills (no offense to anyone!). Mini was from a pet store and I knew nothing about dogs before I got Mini (my first pup). He was very sick within the 3rd day I got him and he had to be hospitalized. =(

how to train the back up?? it looks nice

Easy! you may try to practice this in a corridor or you can fence a narrow area. Have your dog facing towards you, then start to walk towards him. As he walks backwards, say the cue word (in this case I used "back-up") or click on the clicker and treat your dog. Your dog will associate your moving steps together with your cue word to the movement "backing up". Hope this helps!
