This is Leo- a sweet boy who's vet referred him to me for some chiropractic adjustments. Even though at first glance, this might seem a pitiful sight, it's actually a FABULOUS sight! When he came to me he was incontinent, unable to stand on his hind end at all, much less walk. His owner has done a great job of doing some rehab I recommended as well as getting Leo adjusted on a set schedule, and look! He's starting to walk! Keep in mind too, that the dog is not in pain- he just lost the motor control. The owner also reports an improvement in incontinence. Dr. Heather Wright, DC, Wright Chiropractic Health Center

  • Was he like this before or afte he went to the chiro?

  • @Bestboytoo couldn't walk at all before his vet sent him to the chiropractor for some treatments + he was incontinent. That cleared up as the back got better.

  • He's so cute! What kind of breed is he?

  • @housemeisterB - He's a Daschund. I've seen several of these guys for low back probs!

  • I didn't see a dog being adjusted, only a dog struggling to walk and not doing a very good job walking. I'm assuming he had already been adjusted(not going to be adjusted)and couldn't walk at all before hand. Before and after always is best to show.
