I need some earbuds and i only wanted diddybeats cause they look stylish and are supposed to be high quality. If i didn't come across this review i would of ended up saving ages and have a huge dissapointment. thanks dude I'm just gonna get the tour instead
You have to burn-in the headphones for atleast 20hrs before the begin to sound good, my Tours sounded like crap when i bought them but they gradually began to sound better now they sound better than just as good as my Studio's
If you haven't returned these, you should let them burn in. The manual explicitly says that it needs at least 70, but recommend 20 hours of "break-in" time to get the best quality. I have the Solo HD's too and in comparison, the diddy beats are actually better in sound quality AFTER i burned them in. The Solos drown out the mids, and although the diddy beats suffer the same problem, it's still a little warmer and the mids are a little better.
Hey man, I listened to your review today and wasn't going to go and buy any because of what you said. But, me being curious went out and bought them anyway just to see for my self. Well, to my surprise dude, you were SPOT on! These headphones are definitely NOT worth $150. If anything, they may be worth 50 or 60 tops. They just didn't live up to any of the hype that surrounded the official launch a while back. I will be returning mine on tomorrow to BestBuy for sure. Believe us ppl.

Make sure they are inserted PROPERLY,if not it apparently affects the sound badly...secondly i've heard high end ear phones need at least a 100 hours burn in time for the drivers to reach their true sound. Not sure if its true but I think its worth looking into...
burn them in before you bash it...LOL
