Trip Shakespeare warming up at The BottleNeck in Lawrence Kansas in the early 90's.
Sorry about the audio, it looks like the playback camera isn't sending the signal. I will remove this one and replace it with a fixed one.

  • WOW!! You got any more footage?

  • Yup, I have more. I need a hi-8 camera that plays back on both audio sides though!

  • @squigglymonkey1 - are you still in the KC area?

  • Lawrence.

  • I'm watching this clip on Grammy night 2012 - and I'm guessing Dan Wilson will probably take home his second Grammy tonight. He's had a stellar career (I love his work w/Storyhill, too). But this video is a testament to the sublime genius of the other brother: Matt. Gorgeous melody. Unearthly harmony. Lyrics that come from some kind of medieval past life. There will never be a boy as beautiful as the middle Wilson sibling. HE wears the magic slacks.

  • Great vocals

  • Please add more!! oOoOOoooo anyone with trip footage PLEEEASE!

  • More!! Trip Shakespeare DVD!! Yes!!!!

  • freaking brilliant!

  • Timeless, takes me right back to all those shows @ the Stone Toad and Teddys/Shank Hall in Milwaukee. Trip has got to be sitting on some vids, no? I'd pay for a hard copy of footage, wish they would put out a DVD. It's all about the Twilight Hours now, which is very cool...a TS DVD could help fund future endeavours, hint hint. Thanks for posting!!

  • I'm in KC and have a hi-8 camera but hesitate to lend it out, and I bet you hesitate to lend out your tape. There's got to be a solution. Any ideas?

  • Awesome. I saw Trip numerous times while in college at UW-Madison. They were always amazing, including a truly magical show outside on the lake at Memorial Union.
