Cigarettes do contain nicotine. Tobacco kills - not nicotine.
The UK government are trying to ban nicotine.

PROVE THEM WRONG - LET THEM KNOW HOW WE FEEL
Volenti non fit injuria motherfuckers. Im the master of my life and i will decide what is good and what is bad for me. Becouse of those socialistic bullshit, they now use a great "dangerous" cover for thing that saves lifes, health and money of all those vaping ex-smokers. So it is OK to seel useless, expensive patches and gums with nicotine giving money to the same people that gets profit from tobacco itself, but when someone invents cheap, real way of giving up tar and cancer its suddenly not?

Well think about this, its the gov who are getting loads of money from the tax on cigs and they also use it as a bit of a population control. So they would never let something so good for you be popular because it threatens there hidden agenda.

@AnnSwedishFrog I wasn't talking about trace elements. I was referring to the fact that tests have revealed trace quantities of carcinogens in e-cigs. Less than harmful quantities in this context. And vegetable glycerine is a by product of soap making - not an ingredient. But you carry on with cigarettes if you prefer. Just don't tell people e-cigs are just as dangerous because the data proves that they are not.

@Maverick477 - and (nag, nag, nag) to make myself perfectly clear, some of the trace-elements are NOT good for the body, that is also true, selenium is good for the body (blood, liver, cells) in small doses! Arsenic is ALSO a trace-element! Not good at all !
AnnSwedishFrog 3 weeks ago
@Maverick477 - Trace-elements is not referring to "small amounts" (told you I had read chemistry) it's referring to substances NEEDED by the body, as Iron, Selenium, Calcium, they are part of the metabolism - yes, I read biology too! Crap, didn't tell you that! - And yes, I just updated my english, swedish bio/chemistry vocab online! So what are the Carcinogenes you think I need??? Other than the ones I allready inhale??

@Maverick477 - Oh, glycerine, not glucose, my english is messing with me, crap, now I probably will get verbally smacked for this too!! Glycerine Is commonly used in soap and as a lubricant; Propylene Glycol sure is a food additive, use in very small doses in potato-chips (snacks) as a solvent for aroma-substances! (to get food taste better) Mostly used in moisturizers for the skin!

@Maverick477 You can object to my comments as you wish, and you may also call them ignorant! But the hell you will blame a smokers death on ME - They can quit smokingor try e-cigarettes the best they can! I state MY opinion, and I do NOT work for a tobacco company! For the sake of... Grow up! - I have lived with smokers the whole my life, I AM a smoker! I just don't believe in e-cigarettes! I know some does! Good for those who have quit because of e-cigs too! Go jump someone elses throat!

@faamecanic1970 - Noone seems to really know about all the additives, someone here in this thread wrote about glucose? Was it? Well, that's sugar... sort of, burn it and you get coal! NOT healthy! Yes, I know, tobacco is MUCH more dangerous! So, what else? I have read chemistry... I'm no expert, but I'm no ignorant either, it's just that my english isn't the best for explaining my thoughts... sorry 'bout that!
