Homeless Youth: Finding Home

Homelessness affects those much younger than we would like to think.  And much of their journey is on their own. Spoken through the stories, images, and experiences of young adults Homeless Youth: Finding Home provides insight into systemic failures, family breakdown, and other issues at the root of youth homelessness. The reflections of these young Minnesotans from a variety of backgrounds also exemplifies growing network of support systems, the healing power of culture and identity, and other glimmers of hope for ending homelessness.  Co-Production with the Amherst A. hm but straight people dont get services housing and a future for free, too. so many of straight people have to watch for themselves when their old enough . Hm maybe you're right maybe you're not but I would kick out a gay son , a lesbian daughter only if she or her girlfriend is dressed like a man with short hairs etc.

@LT0WnWaRi0 It is not a tendency for someone one to be gay, lesbian, or transgender. They are people like you and I. They deserve services, housing, and a future just like straight young people.

if they are kicked out for beeing gay or lesbian i think you shouldnt help them.

okay i think that it isnt fault that they have this tendency, but they have the choice :

beeing gay or lesbian or go straight and with god and their families thats the point!

This was a powerful video... I am currently working with this population.And this social justice issue is very real and very prevalent...but we can all do something to help out. I pray for all the young people that have and are going through similar situations. You can make it in life and deserve to have dreams and goals...and you CAN reach them (Philippians 4:13).
