I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS BIKE! Can't WAIT to get 6 grand. I actually prefer this look over the ninja looking 1098. I'm sure 1098 beats the heck out of it at the track, I just don't care.

the 848 is easier to handle but the 749 is a fighter and a winner. it simply is a riders machine. the 848 is like anybodies friend.

@dlite922 completely agree with you. IMO it is my favorite ducati bike. i am going to get a used 749. I cannot afford the 999
