Chinese Ambassador to the United States Zhang Yesui said in an address at Harvard Kennedy School that the United States and China need to move beyond a Cold War mindset and reframe their relationship as "a community of interests" in which they work together as partners. Zhang spoke on Wednesday, Oct. 12 in an event hosted by the Future of Diplomacy Project.
@killazerg1 Better that they discuss it and learn through the discussions. Maybe we could all learn something from it.

Perhaps change is inevitable, but for now, their policies hardly make them a good candidate to preach on proper employee relations

@killazerg1 To me, there isn't a 'THEM' vs. 'US' theme. China is changing fast, and few like change. Especially Chinese. But change is necessary. It appears Ironic now, but eventually they will catch up. As they become more educated they will find the Chinese buying power when wealth is shared among the people so they can buy goods. China is only just now beginning to really examine their nation’s policies against western ideals.

You don't see the irony of THEM helping US on how to properly compensate employees?

@killazerg1 If the alternative is fewer buyers of their economic goods, why wouldn't they?

The species of Mankind is in danger because the planet is in danger. That becomes then the priority of species: self-preservation.
We need to pro-create responsibly, and work together to find resolutions through argument and education, not violence or bloodshed, or poor policies like capitalism.
Education then, becomes the top priority of all countries who realize what I'm trying to inform you of now. It is only through wisdom, can great knowledge and power produce ‘good’.

No small minority can combat greater authority. In the case of America the majority of power rests in the hands of poorly informed citizens. The whole world needs ethics that are only possible when Ideology is replaced by an agreed world morality and ethic, the first of which is peaceful resolutions. America and china need to become one with the entire world, but not forcefully, it must be a world agreement, validated by arguments for the rights of differing Ideologies to exist.
