Hey the US and israel have been training and supplying them with weapons. You don't see Russia over in our neck of the woods doing things like this.
This was a gamble that failed.
All governments are self interested and Russia has a right to keep this Georgian puppet out of Nato and i hope they do!
Russia threatened if they did not back off from those areas they would start supplying Iran and Syria with high tech weapons.
Who is the ones instigating not Russia but the US and Israel.

Georgian attack - yes. Russia just "trying to keep peace" - I'm not so sure. Ever considered South Ossetia trying to split from Georgia was a move made in concert with the Russians?
Someone needed to stop the Georgians. Granted. But we have to see what the Russian's real goals are.
