I did this the other day as well, I also used a coconut.
The Kurkuri Knife went through it like it was not even there.
Love these knives.

@papaburger ...Good Point...but since we are somewhat poor and hungry too... we ate most all of the watermelon. It was sweeeet & oh so delciously cold on that hot summer day !
