lyrics by Eugene Lockhart, music by Ernest Seitz
I was watching Les Paul and Mary Ford here on the 'Tube, and got inspired. It took me long enough with modern technology to overdub a few tracks, so imagine how long it took old Lester with just his homemade 8 track recorder.
My throat is kind of scratchy, so I didn't do a full chorus at the end, but at least it all syncs up. I was going to add ukulele too, but this is enough.
If you are in NYC on a Monday night, you MUST go see Les Paul at the Iridium. He's only 93, so no telling how many more chances you'll get.
you do a great job my friend!!!
