The Magician fooled everyone in Arthur Ashe except for Roddick with this trick shot. I had to watch it three times to figure out what happened.

  • @TheTennisStore His "bag of tricks" was only ineffective because he was too old and slow to execute most of them as effectively as before. Santoro beat players like Sampras, Safin, Agassi etc and even gave Rog a tough match at the Open in 2005. I think in his prime he'd be more than capable of beating Roddick.

  • @SuperBajack I'm not discrediting Santoro... he's one of my favorite players. I was just sad to see him not able to do anything against Roddick in this match because he was too old.

  • The last romantic of the tennis-Fabris Santoro!

  • @rmsprowler are you kidding ? a few days are not enough to learn tennis

come back next year and i'll try to explain you why it's not a common shot

  • @gr0chibre lol all you could teach me in tennis is how to lose to an opponent 6-0, 6-0. having played tennis for years, i can tell you a trick shot when i see one. ametuers like yourself cannot.

  • Ummm, the important thing is that he lost the point...

  • @rmsprowler no, learn tennis then talk to me.

  • @gr0chibre learn to speak english then talk to me.

  • @rmsprowler

ho yeah, players hit everyday half-volleys BEHIND them...

  • Whenever I do a crazy slice that I probably should not have , my #1 excuse is "santoro does it

  • @TheTennisStore

He wasn't too old at this time. He lost because he hadn't sleep for days then. He faced familial issues and he wasn't able to train. I remember he beat Roddick at Lyon in three sets the year before (sorry for my english).

  • no look shoot :D
