Short video I made of a camera/character positioning hack in action on Silent Hill 2 on the island seen in the 'Rebirth' ending.

It's located on the island in the center of the lake you cross in the boat-rowing sequence. In the game, there is an "invisible wall" that prevents you from going in. This is not a fake, though. They just hacked to get through the invisible wall. This is not uncommon at all. There are plenty of times where, in order to make a game's release date, the developers decide to cut out certain areas that were going to be playable. They cover up the unfinished animations by putting up "invisible walls."

Turns out the people of Silent Hill couldn't find the time to build the church, so they painted one on cardboard instead.

This is so amazing! So the church was there, but you could not get to it in the game. What i want to know is why put something like a church in the game if there is no way of getting to it (in the game of course)
