Prologue

In the year in 1849 two brothers where out exploring near their settlement and stopped by a small pond to take a drink. It was not until the older brother had stood up that he noticed something
shiny under the surface. He dug around and remove a stone, embeded in which was a piece of gold. It was then the two brothers decided to begin mining. They and their workers dug intricate tunnels
and passages under the earth in search of this elusive treasure. They returned to the surface every day with a small fortune. They worked tirelessly, nothing could satiet their obsession.
Not long after they began one of the brothers fell down into a cavern while mining. His leg badly broken, he tried to find a way out but to no avail.
His brother became deeply depressed and ended up taking his own life in hopes of being reuinted with his life-long friend.

Soon after that the remaining miners could not find so much as gold dust and disease began to fall over the settlement. The remaining miners died off or moved away. It is said to this day the mine
is haunted by the two brothers now greedily hoarding and protecting their treasure. You decided to find out for yourself.

You awaken to the sound of birds chirping and the glare of the mid morning sun. It must already be late in the day, the ground around you is warm.
Yesterday you had continued your hike through the forest and noticed a small bridge figuring it would be a good place to set up for the night under the stars.
You also notice a small building a little ways in the distane you didn't notice last night. The building appears to be in ruin and figuring it might not be safe to enter,
you continue over the bridge instead.
