Khaki Archery - PSE Archery Mustang

A short video of me shooting my PSE Archery Mustang 50lb recurve bow. Purchased about a week ago on May 15, 2011. Range is about 20 yards. Shooting bare with no sights.

I have been doing archery on and off since I was a kid. This is the first bow that I have actually owned. Shooting Easton Gamegetter XX75 500D aluminum/carbon hybrids.

I am still getting used to shooting my bow and in the video I manage to shoot a nice tight cluster of arrows.

your pulling like 3/4 of ur full draw maybe less

@mikeknowshow Hi Mike. Right now I am still getting used to the strength of the bow. Also my arrows are only 32" long. If I pulled back any farther I would run out of arrow! Bows of this type generally only have a draw length of 29" anyway. Thanks for the suggestion though! I'm always learning and always up for any suggestions!

But look at the film starting from 25th second - the angle of the arrows hitting target is very strange :)

@Barmey100 Heya! The arrows facing left to right are being first by my friend Paul who is shooting at the same target as me. You notice that the arrow that I shoot, before cheering, is aiming more towards my shooting position.

But it looks like your arrows are too flexible (too week) for that bow. Try to use a little bit harder shafts :)

@Barmey100 Hi there, and thank you! No worries, I did look into the bow and the arrows and the arrows are rated for my bow specifically. 50 lb recurve bow shooting Easton Gamegetter XX75 500 2016 arrows. They were made for this bow, pretty much. =)
