Song: Silmarillion 1: Ainulindale
This song combines tracks 1 through 6 of the audio-book, covering the first chapter of the first book of the Silmarillion, called "the Ainulindale." It describes Tolkein's music-based cosmology. The song is "Through the Stargate Part One" by Constance Demby, played overlapping both forward and backward. For the vocal layers of these songs I used the audio-book of JRR Tolkein's cosmological opus "the Silmarillion," ed. Christopher Tolkein, narrated by Martin Shaw. The music for these tracks is entirely produced from the album "Novus Magnificat" by "New Age" music composer, Constance Demby.
