"A Much-Wanted Child" - Part Three

Ava lays in her hospital bed panicking about the baby coming early and wondering where her family is. The doctor orders Bill out and wants her prepped for a C-section.
Bill paces the corridor until a doctor tells him that his son has come. He enters the room and finds that the baby is silent. He and Ava panic but the doctor tells them not to. The baby is rushed off before he can see him. The nurse explains that the baby still can't breathe on his own. He's eager to actually see him and rushes out to speak with the doctor, leaving Ava exhausted.
Vanessa arrives in the corridor, eager for news. Jeffrey is supposedly on the way and Olivia is stuck in Canada. Dinah feels odd that she will soon be an Auntie. Vanessa admits that she's worried about her. Dinah is sure that everything will be alright and the baby will bring them closer than ever before. Vanessa starts mothering her. Dinah tells her to stop; it's too late. Her brother needs her now. She spots the nurses gossiping about Bill and snipes at them. Bill hurries out from the ICU and tells them that the baby is here.
Marina sneaks up on Mallet in the park.
Remy shows up, worried that Ava has been rushed in. He asks Marina to go and check on her. She reminds him that she and Ava aren't friends. He needs to keep moving and runs off.
Lizzie runs into Remy and pulls him into Company. He's frustrated to leave Ava alone. "She's not all alone. She's with Bill," Lizzie says. "Exactly," he says. He wonders if she's over Bill. She says she's not so she is going to do something drastic. They begin drowning their sorrows until her mother calls. Beth tells her that she and Bill are all over the gossip papers. She toasts with Remy: "To things getting worse!" She's sure that Bill's chance to be governor is now dead and his name will be mud. She's just glad she'll be in LA. Remy tells her to go public and make sure that Bill's career is ruined. They stop and worry about the baby.
Bill returns to his wife's room and paces back and forth mumbling to himself. Ava can barely move. He tells her to rest. "I love him. I love you. We're all here and it's good," he says. He loves their family more than anything. He walks out. Bill buys Ava flowers and runs into his sister. She tells him that they have everything now and they are a beautiful family. He tells her to cancel his meetings and returns to Ava's side, announcing that they will be allowed to see Max. She doesn't want to and suggests they wait. He's eager to meet Max and helps her up.
Marina and Mallet find Remy doing push ups in the park. "Babies are scary," Mallet says. Remy gets up, admitting that he's acting crazy but he needs to keep moving. He gets a call and has to go.
