"Omens Of Love" is from the 1976 album "Gist Of The Gemini"......A masterpiece by our beloved hairy Italian who we can't get enough of......I am a 36 year fan of his, I have the utmost respect for him and his family.....;)
A big thank you to all who have made the nice comments that these videos. All I want is to bring back more old fans and new ones too...;) Please support him by buying his wonderful music and attending his concerts..If I brought back at least one fan back to him, then it was worth posting these, and that was my original intent for these videos....He has many loyal fans and many have come back, he is alive and kickin' and is still very active in his career, and has stayed true to himself and in his music.....;)

This song brings tears to my eyes. I had to stop and play it. I've been playing Gino's videos and I can't seem to get away from him. I've loved Gino Vannelli for many years. I'm going to order some of his music I haven't gotten yet. And he is one hairy, gorgeous, extremely talented, lovely, Italian man!

I too have noticed that some of his recent "jam session" stuff doesn't do his voice justice.....he needs orchestras to back up his voice. But these small little bands are mobile I guess and its much more expensive to carry and orchestra around with you....

It is sad to hear you say that, i love all of his music......He has rearranged some of his older songs because he gets tired of singing the same thing over and over.....I understand that it is very different than the originals, and it was an adjustment for me too, I still think they are fantastic...

no one loved gino vanelli more than me...but some of the things he has done to his songs over the past 5 years really disappoints me ...and his vocals are gone...i always thought gino would stand right up there with paul McCartney...maybe im the only one who feels this way...im sorry if i hurt any ones feelings..but some of the songs that i considered TIMELESS he has taken BAR BAND APPROACH TOWARDS...i love the man still listen to gino today.some songes sound like jamsession...
