I love Clara!! I love your enthusiasm! Keep it up!! My grandmother also was from the depression era and some of her best recipes came from neccassity,not what they wanted. Still they were awesome recipes that are family carries on to this day! I think maybe you are just a tad nervous but still, you did a great job!

@daisydawn79 thank you lol no I was not nervous I just had to keep my voice low because people in the back room were sleeping so I could not be all loud and stuff but I was in a cooking mood and was making one of her recipes and said hay why not make a vid in honor of her because she is that great... but yes thank you for your comment I need to get a new cam so I can make vids like this again

@cliffcox66 thank you lol yes I am just making the recipe and you I can't just not talk because then no one will watch so I do want to thank you I am a huge fan of Depression cooking got the cook book going to get her DVD because I am being honest she reminds me alot of my Grandmother (still alive today) who lived during the depression so it is fun for me to watch

Do we really need the $100/month cable, the $5 Starbucks coffee every day, ... A lot of it is not keeping up with the Jones', but living within our means. It does not matter how much we make, even some millionaires live outside their means and file bankruptcy, which sounds totally unheard of when comparing to a middle class salary.

But It can be done, 40% of Americans are doing it. I live on about 50% of my salary, granted I don't have the finer things in life, it just collects dust anyways.

I have to wear earphones to hear what you are saying. I would rather you record in loud than soft because I can turn you down if I need to, but I am on 100% on Youtube and the same on my computer. Please change your volume? thanks. and thanks for sharing! Best regards

He was obviously very inspired by Clara (as I am), and he wants to show us his version of the same meal. GOOD ON YOU!!!!!! I cooked the peppers and eggs tonight for dinner and I Loved it!!!! Clara, youre the greatest. I'm from Australia and I think she is wonderful! We can all learn from others and traditional Italian style cooking is simply delicious!
