2 Eyes is not immortality scrub, As Sasori895 said, It simply Prove that he "CAN" become immortal if they chose by taking it off C.C or V.V or whichever person they got their Geass off
Altho i Do think Lelouch servived, I like to think he's the one Driving the Cart at the end, That makes me happy

that's how sunrise work, say that hes dead while make it look possible for him to be alive-that makes fan wars and commotion for a long time and dvd sales go wild too ^^

2 Geass eyes is fully Evolved geass, which then allows you to take the code from a Code Bearer (C.C or V.V) Charles took V.V's code.
During the Ragnarok Connection(I like to think) Lelouch took Charles's Code. making himself a Code Bearer. (Altho this also is a bit flawed because from my understanding Code Bearers cannot USE geass, Yet Lelouch uses it multiple times)

all reality, Im sure hes alive,
1. C.C doesnt talk about Geass in public, In the cart she does.
2. Charles isnt an idiot and would have no reason to grab Lelouch around the throat knowing he wouldnt have enough to choke him. (but this is also what they made to better say that lelouch is alive)
3. When Orange ( <3) Cancels Geass He also does it on lelouch, meaning Lelouch can cast geass upon him self. :)
