Zooma scooter with boost bottle added but still need to adjust the carb a bit. This little thing is still idling a bit to fast and wants to take off. It does about 34 miles per hour now, a couple of miles faster than before. Although it could just be that the engine is broken in now too. Next comes nitrous injection and hopefully a slightly faster run when the weather is nicer out to test. Noise ordinances in the area prevent me from just taking this out on the road, and there are enough liberal pansies that would call it in too. Now if they knew I had a baja buggy with IR headlights and nitrous waiting to be tested out...lol. On a dark moonless night it might be worth trying out.

  • What is the purpose of a boost bottle?

  • It smooths out your fuel to air mixture and provides more efficient combustion, more power. Many jet skis and snow machines use them stock from the factory. I use it to smooth out the hit of nitrous so the thing doesn't cartwheel out from under me.

  • Parts come from online sources, look up "Zooma scooter parts" in Google for instance.

  • Dude same scooter as me. I love mine, what parts did you put on and where can i get them cus 34 mph is great considering the stock is only 25

  • New primary gear, chain, boost bottle to smooth out fuel/air mixture, adjust the slack out of the throttle cable. Those were the mechanical mods. I also added a bicycle headlight and tail light to keep the local cops happy. (Until city rules changed and they say this thing is tool loud for riding around town.) It also has a mount for a Garmin GPS, and that is how I measured my speed. Then I warmed it up and used a large area to get up to speed. It takes some time and room for 35, usually 25-28.
