The Mystique at Häagen-Dazs in Singapore

One thing I love about Asia is that ice cream is an upscale event. That means that the dishes are a little fancier, ingredients are often fresher, and they always come in proper glassware :-).

Häagen-Dazs and Swensons are both great choices. I also like the various smaller chains that serve "fresh & healthy" desserts based on shaved ice with condensed milk, fresh fruit and frozen yogurt.

This particular video was from the Hagan Daaz in Singapore in the Centrepoint Shopping Mall, Orchard Row. The dry ice was a nice touch. The ice cream flavors were dark chocolate with orange chocolate bites, double chocolate, and raspberry gelato.

I loved my stay in Singapore. If only I could afford to stay there more! It is quite expensive compared to most other destinations in Asia. But it's beautiful, clean, the food is delicious and the people are quite nice!
